Here is our love story told by both Richard and myself. To the man of my dreams!
Can You Feel the Love?
It's that time of year...the time for romance, love notes and appreciation for your loved one. This year I am really feeling the love. Richard and I are about to celebrate our 3rd year of blissful marriage next month and we were just recently asked to participate in sharing our love story with the local college TV station. I don't think our story is unusual per se, but I do agree that fate exists. Richard and I met in college, like a lot of couples. We dated for a brief stint and eventually went our separate ways. I moved to the sleepless city of Seattle to follow a dance career and Richard ended up in Dallas to forgo his accounting dreams. We both married and started our own families. We kept in touch, but very sporadically. And after years of what had become our daily lives, and always wondering about the "what-if", fate entered our world. I wasn't too keen on getting involved in a relationship, having two teenagers and a blooming business that I'm passionate about. But that all changed on February 13th, 2013 when Richard called to order a Valentine arrangement for his mother. Thus began (again) our love story. In the spirit of love, why don't you call and order your Valentine arrangement? THEN tell us your love story in the comments section below. We will select one story, at random. And if your story gets selected, we will share your story with our friends and followers, AND you'll receive a beautiful Valentine floral arrangement valued at $150.
Little Tidbit: The necklace in the photo was Richard's wedding gift to me. It was a fortune he recieved in his fortune cookie the week before he called to order his mother's Valentine arrangement. :)
Katherine + Ryan
Seldom does a client give us so much creative room to play, but that's exactly what Katherine & Ryan did! Along with her mother and stepfather, Debbie & Jack, this wedding was a dream to create. Katherine's grandfather's backyard was the setting for this beautiful wedding and we couldn't have been more thrilled to work in such a lush oasis in the Texas Panhandle. The gardens were designed by the bride's late Grandmother, what a loving tribute to her. The day was a perfect early fall day in the Texas Panhandle, complete with a hint of weather.

The Bowery's First Wedding = Success
We were super excited to host our first wedding in our Amarillo warehouse this past weekend for mulitple reasons... One: It was our first wedding of the year and, well, that's what we live for! Two: We were able to project the vibe of the production at The Bowery and work out any kinks thrown our way. Three: The couple, Tanyon (@tanyonsannallison) and Elissa are so adorable and such an easy-going pair. And ulitimately made the process a fairly smooth one. We cannot wait to share the georgeous photos of the ceremony & reception shot by the lovely @baharehritter! But in the meantime, here are a few before shots taken by our sweet & talented friend Kaili Herr @journeytofindme
